As we analyze the Week 16 Consistency Chart, it's clear that players across all age groups have made significant strides since Week 12. The improvements in average exit velocity and max velo reflect not just increased strength but also better mechanics, timing and approach at the plate.
However, to truly gauge their progress, we need to compare these numbers to average exit velocities for their age groups across Canada and the USA. These benchmarks give us a better understanding of where our hitters stand relative to top-performing players across North America.
National Exit Velocity Benchmarks (USA & Canada)
12U: Average 50-55 mph, High-Level 60+ mph
13U: Average 55-60 mph, High-Level 65+ mph
14U: Average 60-65 mph, High-Level 75+ mph
15U: Average 65-70 mph, High-Level 80+ mph
Many of our hitters are now surpassing these benchmarks, showcasing growth in power and bat speed.
12U - Consistency Chart Week 16
The 12U hitters have continued to develop strong, repeatable swings, with several players reaching top-tier max velocities.

Analysis:
Mason has been dominant, with a max velocity of 69 mph, well above the 12U national average.
Gabriel, Tyler and Hudson remain consistent, staying within the expected range for top-tier 12U players.
Luca has shown excellent control and balance, maintaining strong bat-to-ball skills.
13U - Consistency Chart Week 16
The 13U group continues to trend above national standards, with multiple hitters reaching elite exit velocities.

Analysis:
Oliver continues to lead the way, hitting a max velocity of 73 mph, which ranks well above national standards for 13U.
Johnny and Nico have remained extremely consistent, proving they can generate repeatable hard contact.
Evan and Luca are maintaining high levels of efficiency, with averages right at or above national benchmarks.
14U - Consistency Chart Week 16
The 14U group is showing power and consistency, with multiple players exceeding the national average of 60-65 mph.

Analysis:
Austin is a standout performer, reaching an elite 87 mph max velocity.
Justin and Marco continue to produce high-level exit velocities, showing advanced bat speed for 14U.
Grady and Matthew G are strong contributors, consistently delivering high exit speeds with control.
15U - Consistency Chart Week 16
The 15U players are showcasing some of the highest exit velocities in the program, with several well above the national average of 62-68 mph.

Analysis:
Ben is the top performer in this group, reaching a max velocity of 84 mph.
Liam T, Ezra, and Marciano are all in strong power-hitting ranges, making them dangerous offensive threats.
Matteo has improved significantly, showcasing a huge jump in max velocity from previous weeks.
Final Thoughts
Across all age groups, players have seen steady increases in exit velocity and consistency. Several players are now exceeding national averages, proving that their hard work and training methods are paying off.
Looking ahead, the focus will be on:
✅ Maximizing efficiency in the swing
✅ Improving approach at the plate
✅ Increasing game-time power production
With continued effort, more players will move into the elite velocity range, setting them up for success at the next level. Keep grinding! 💪⚾
