We’ve officially kicked off the 2025 Off-Season Hitting Program, and Week 1 gave us exactly what we needed: a clear, honest baseline to build from. Every hitter walked in with their own strengths, habits and movement patterns, and over the next several months we’ll take those pieces and shape them into complete, consistent swings. This program is built around long-term development. It’s structured, progressive and designed to give players the tools, movement patterns and confidence they need to succeed when the season arrives.
Each player also received a video analysis of their swing to help them understand their current patterns and what we’ll be focusing on moving forward.
What the Program Entails
The program is built to help players develop complete, repeatable swings. We start every session with movement prep so players can control their posture, balance and rotation before picking up a bat. From there, we break the swing down into key pieces like the gather, stride, direction, and bat path, adding new challenges each week as the mechanics start to take shape. Once players show stability, we shift into bat speed, power work and the mental side to help them move the barrel faster and more efficiently.
Week 1 Team Highlights
Week 1 is never about being perfect — it’s about showing us who you are right now. And across all age groups, there were several strong early performances.
Top Consistency Performers
These hitters posted tight average-to-max gaps, showing stability and repeatable patterns right out of the gate:
Marco (15U) — the tightest gap of the entire program (5.7).
Nico (13U) — clean, simple swing with great repeatability.
Mason S (13U) & Maxwell (13U) — both under 9 mph gaps.
Clayton (12U) — excellent early efficiency.
Frank (15U) & Matteo (16U) — strong balance of power and control.
Top Power Performances
A few hitters came out showing early-season juice:
Enzo (15U) — 80 mph max, one of the highest in the program.
Blake (15U) & Ezra (15U) — big power numbers with room to tighten.
Marciano (16U) — heavy, explosive contact at his top end.
Adrian B (13U) — advanced bat speed for his age.
Week 1 gave us a true starting point. Now the real work begins. Over the next 20 weeks we’ll build better movers, stronger hitters and more confident players who understand their swing — not just how it feels, but how it works.
Every rep matters. Every drill has a purpose. And every player has a plan.
