2020 Baseball Ontario 17U Youth Team Selection Camps
Who and What
The Ontario Youth Team is a 17U team comprised of the top players in the Province, which will represent Ontario at the 2020 Canada Cup in Fort McMurray, Alberta. All players born in 2003 and younger, who are on a 2020 Baseball Ontario Rep roster, are on a roster with a PBLO team, or are part of the 2020 Baseball Ontario recognized program, are eligible to try out.
How, When and Where
Players, who are interested in trying out for the Youth Team, will register for one of two initial Prospect I.D. Camps (i.e. choose the weekend and location that best suits you and your schedule):
Initial I.D. Camp Option 1 – April 17-19, University of Waterloo Fieldhouse
Initial I.D. Camp Option 2 – April 24-26, Durham College Fieldhouse
*From the field of initial I.D. Camps participants, the coaching staff will select players for a Final Selection Camp to be held in Vaughan May 15-18 at the Vaughan Grove Sports Complex*
How to Register for Try Outs
Players register individually for one of the two initial I.D. Camps through our online registration link. The Tryout Fee for 2020 is $230.00. An additional fee may be required for players who make the final roster.
Refund Policy
Your entry fee includes a non-refundable deposit of $50.
Cancellations received prior to the start of your scheduled initial I.D. Camp will be refunded the Tryout Fee less the non-refundable deposit.
No refunds will be issued for cancelations received after the start of your scheduled initial I.D. Camp.
Meals & Accommodation
All participants are responsible for their own meals and accommodation for all Camps during the selection process.
