2017 AGM
The 2017 Baseball Ontario Annual General Meeting took place November 17-19, in Hamilton at the Sheraton Hotel (http://www.sheratonhamilton.com/). This event, celebrated the 100 anniversary for Baseball Ontario, which was founded under the name “Ontario Baseball Amateur Association”. Why Hamilton? The Ontario Baseball Association was which was organized at a meeting held in Hamilton at the Central YMCA on Saturday, May 4, 1918.
Along with Baseball Ontario’s 100th anniversary celebrations, Baseball Canada handed out their National Awards honouring volunteers, coaches, officials and athletes from across the country. The Grand Ballroom at the Sheraton Hamilton Hotel was packed for a memorable evening that celebrated Baseball Ontario’s rich history in their Centennial Year. Baseball Ontario added seven members to their Hall of Fame.
