Congratulations to Dennis Dei Baning and the Humber College Baseball team on winning the Canadian National Championship. With the win, the Hawks completed the baseball trifecta, first by winning the OCAA Division crown, then their first OCAA title, followed by the National Championship victory on their home field of Connorvale Park. Along the way, Humber won an incredible 18 consecutive league, provincial and national wins.
A West Toronto alumni, Dennis played a year at Erie Community College in New York before joining the Hawks roster. In 2018 Dei Baning batted .343 and recorded 21 RBI's. Dennis is a hard nosed competitor. Hes a great hitter, who can hit to all fields, but it;s his ability to hit for power and his speed are what scares pitchers.
