Congratulations to West Toronto Baseball alumni Dennis Dei Baning, who was named the 2016 Toronto Baseball Association MVP, at the junior level (19-21yrs). Representing the High Park Juniors, Dei Baning had an outstanding rookie campaign batting .446, 4 HR, .747 SLG and 32 RBI's in 22 games. It is no surprise that Dennis continues to punish the baseball as that's what he has done throughout his career. One of the most feared hitters of his era, Dennis still owns the all-time West home run record with 37 in his 6 yrs. Dennis was showcased as a Canadian representative at the 8th Annual 2014 Power Showcase held in Miami Florida. He impressed scouts with his power and speed with resemblance to the former Montreal Expos Andre Dawson. Coach Q Baseball would like to congratulate Dennis on his accomplishments and wishing continued success.
